‘Quay’ expansion for Swansea restaurant
Quay Three – an independent restaurant and bar, based on Swansea’s SA1 Marina, has invested over £20,000 to cope with growing demand.
Having launched in May 2015, Quay Three has already established itself as a popular choice in Swansea thanks to its quirky interior and freshly prepared dishes created by head chef, Jack Brown, formally of London’s famous Ivy Restaurant.
Co-Founder, Jason Hole said: “The customer demand has far exceeded our initial expectations and we do not anticipate this slowing down, especially with the festive season around the corner. Therefore expanding and rearranging the restaurant space seemed like the natural progression to cope with more bookings and maximise revenue.
We intend to mirror the success of our first six months in business, and build on our reputation not only as a leading ‘foodie’ destination in Swansea but in Wales. With Jack creating the menus, our picturesque setting, and our strong operations team, I believe we have the ingredients to position ourselves as a restaurant of distinction in Wales.”
Quay Three is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. Taking inspiration from the waterfront location the seafood menu is vast. A diverse range of classic British and modern European dishes are also on offer.
Quay Three was founded by Swansea based businessmen, Jason Hole, 29, and Chris Ware, 31, alongside ‘Yellow Cabs’ entrepreneur Wayne Harris, 49. Their commitment is to deliver the best in Welsh food and drink innovation with plans to open more sites within the next two years.
